I was born and raised in beautiful Mannheim, Germany, where I enjoyed living the first 21 years of my life. Marrying a US Army sergeant in 2004 eventually brought me to Portland, Oregon, in June 2006. That’s when I started going to Mount Hood Community College to work on my transfer degree in business. I am transferring to Portland State University in the fall of 08 to work on my Bachelors and Masters in Business.

I am very fun person and love to smile. I love snowboarding, rafting, horse-back riding, swimming, traveling, Musicals, watching CSI, and cooking.

Since I miss my parents and family in Germany very much, I usually travel back home 2 or 3 times a year to spend some precious time.

I realized how much I love and enjoy teaching kids German as I worked as a teacher’s aid at a kindergarten on an Army base in Germany for about 2 years.

I love every second of teaching at the German Saturday School and introducing the children to the fantastic world of the German language and all the amazing German traditions there are. I enjoy showing them how much fun it is to learn a language and it is my goal every Saturday to put a smile on my students’ faces.
